When Hiring a car with Cosmos Corfu Airport Car Rental You will be asked to choose your Insurance Package, There are 2 choices :

Cosmos Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is included in the rental price with a certain excess amount. (€500, €700, €1.100, €1.400 €1,700, €1.800 euro depending on the car type) This amount will be blocked on a credit card for security. The drivers must return the vehicle in the same condition they received it. If the car needs extensive cleaning, the amount of 60 euros will be charged. Insurance does not cover damages regarding underside, tyres, wheels, roof, interior & glass parts (including windscreen) unless they were caused by a third party in an accident.All damages caused due to driving off-road are not covered, the renter holds full responsibility and will have to bear any towing charges. Fire and theft insurance are included in the price with an excess of €500, €700, €1.100, €1.400, €1.700, €1.800 euro depending on the car type.

Cosmos Full Damage Waiver (FDW) insurance offers the client the chance to lower the amount that they are responsible for to 100 euros. Damages to the interior, mirrors, loss or damage of antennae, wheel covers is subject to being charged.
